Safe Space Policy

KiguruFest is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for cosplayers of all ages and experience levels. To ensure all guests feel respected and comfortable, the following policies will be enforced:

Weapons & Props

Weapons of any kind, including prop weapons, are not permitted. All props must be checked at the event entrance prior to entry. No exceptions.

Respect & Conduct
KiguruFest maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, intimidation, or any form of unwanted physical contact. Individuals found in violation of this policy may be removed from the premises immediately.

Consent & Photography
Clear verbal consent must always be obtained before taking photos or videos of guests, staff, vendors, or cosplayers.

Cosplay is not consent.
Any individual found taking non-consensual photos or recordings will be removed from the event. Flash photography is not permitted.

Theft & Illegal Activity
Any criminal activity, including theft from vendors, guests, or the venue, will result in immediate removal and may be reported to local authorities.

Discrimination & Disruptive Behavior
Discriminatory behavior of any kind—including racism, sexism, or harassment—will not be tolerated. KiguruFest encourages respectful interaction and a positive atmosphere for all attendees. Individuals engaging in disruptive or harmful behavior may receive one verbal warning at staff discretion; continued violations will result in removal.

 

Minors
All ages are welcome, however, guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or designated adult at all times.

 

Policy Enforcement
KiguruFest staff reserve the right to enforce all policies and venue rules. Violations may result in a verbal warning or immediate removal from the premises without refund.

KiguruFest Dress Code

KiguruFest encourages creativity, cosplay, and self-expression. To maintain a welcoming, all-ages environment, all attendees must adhere to the following guidelines:

 

Coverage Requirements
Costumes and outfits must provide adequate coverage at all times. Undergarments should not be visible during normal movement, including sitting, bending, reaching, or walking.

 

Chest Coverage
Attire must provide appropriate coverage of the chest area. Excessive exposure—including visible under bust, nipples, or insufficient top coverage—is not permitted.

 

Footwear
Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times for safety and comfort. Wheeled shoes are not permitted inside the venue.

 

Final Discretion
KiguruFest staff reserve the right to make final determinations regarding dress code compliance.
